ANAUT is one of the most established bands on Spain’s rock and soul circuit, with over a decade of experience and a powerful, organic live show. ANAUT is a Madrid-based band featuring Alberto Anaut (vocals and guitars), Gabri Casanova (keyboards) and Javier “Skunk” Gómez (drums and backing vocals). With more than a decade of experience, the trio has developed a distinctive sound bringing together rock, soul, pop and American roots music, with live performance at the heart of the band’s identity. The project was born in Amsterdam in 2013, during Alberto Anaut’s studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. That same year they released their debut album, 140, followed by Time Goes On (2016) and Hello There (2018), establishing ANAUT on Spain’s live music circuit. Songs including When Your Days Grow Long, with over 1.6 million streams on Spotify, have become some of the best-known tracks in their catalogue. In 2025, ANAUT began a new artistic chapter with Perro Verde, their fourth album and their first recorded entirely in Spanish. Produced by the band alongside Kike Fuentes, its thirteen songs expand their soul and American roots influences into rock and pop while retaining the organic musicianship and distinctive musical identity that have defined ANAUT since the beginning. The album includes songs such as El Barco, featuring guest vocals from Anni B Sweet, El Final and Lejos de Aquí. On stage, ANAUT transforms this new repertoire into a powerful, dynamic live show driven by outstanding musicianship, strong songwriting and the chemistry of three musicians with a long history of playing together.
